We are opening a new MMS office in Bellville, Cape Town, which will be under the reins of Dirk Bester and Reinier Duraan.

Together, Dirk and Reinier have more than 10 years of experience in the industry and are both registered as Chartered Accountants.

In 2014, Dirk and Reinier founded SumTotal, a boutique auditing, accounting, tax and management consulting company, based in Bellville, Cape Town, and have since been growing the business together, providing all types of accounting, tax, secretarial and consulting/consultation services.

Since 2015, the pair started building a professional relationship with Mahdi Meyer Steyn (MMS), an innovative and highly professional auditing and consulting firm. As part of their growth strategy, MMS started looking at establishing an office in Cape Town and eventually decided to take the plunge.

Both firms currently benefit from “cross-pollination”, through the support and sharing of services, infrastructure, etc. Together, the firms provide a better service to customers, as there is a wider reach, but also a wider knowledge base that both enhances service and empowers clients.
