At MMS Group, we place the highest value on the security and integrity of our clients’ information. Recent media reports have highlighted alarming cases of tax practitioners being involved in profile hijackings and the fraudulent diversion of SARS refunds. As a trusted provider of tax and accounting services, we want to reassure our clients that MMS does things differently.

Putting client security first

We are fully aware of the ongoing threats in the tax industry, including the manipulation of client information through eFiling hijackings. SARS, like other financial institutions, is under constant threat from international cybercrime syndicates. These attacks can be devastating, particularly when they involve tax practitioners who betray the trust of their clients. At MMS Group, we have stringent protocols in place to protect your information from these threats.

Our commitment to safeguarding your financial data is unwavering. MMS ensures that all transactions, updates, and communications with SARS are conducted through secure systems and handled by professionals with the highest level of integrity. We believe that transparency, diligence, and the protection of our clients’ data are at the heart of a trustworthy professional relationship.

Professionalism and accountability

While recent reports have implicated some tax practitioners in unethical behaviour, such practices are not only unacceptable to us—they go against everything we stand for. MMS Group maintains strict internal controls to ensure that all client information is handled with the utmost care and professionalism. Our team of tax experts is not only highly qualified but also committed to maintaining the trust that is critical to our client relationships.

To protect our clients’ sensitive information, we employ advanced security measures and follow industry best practices for handling financial data. At no point will we compromise on the protection of your data or the ethical standards that MMS Group upholds.
