The MMS social calendar kicked off with the annual Potjiekos competition held on the 24th of March 2018!
The Potjiekos competition is a fun day for friends, family and colleagues to come together and compete in teams for the ultimate bragging rights – being named the Potjiekos Champions!
This year we decided to mix things up a little and instead of competing in our divisions, we left the fate of our bragging rights in the hands of lady luck as the teams were selected by a random drawing of numbers, to create the ultimate teambuilding challenge – making the best Potjie and side dishes the judges and life entertainment, Rohan & Co have ever tasted.
Our 5 teams, really went all out, not only focussing on the Potjies, but also decorating their stands and dressing up according to their interpretation of the theme: CARNIVAL! – Adding to the festivity of the day.
The Potjiekos competition was a great success and fun was held by all that attended. We would like to give a special congratulations to Team 4 who were this year’s winners, with Potmaster, Rene Engelbrecht’s spicy Oxtail and red wine potjie served with Jacques van Wyk’s famous potbrood.
To our fellow colleagues at MMS, thank you for all the effort you put in to make the Potjiekos competition a success, the day would not have been the same without you!
